Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account for Train, published by Train Coaching Limited on the App Store and Google Play, and what happens to your data.

Last updated: September 2026

Cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Only the store that bills you can do that. Cancel first, or you will keep being charged.

iPhone and iPad

Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Train → Cancel Subscription. Open your App Store subscriptions.

Android

Google Play → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Train → Cancel subscription. Open your Google Play subscriptions.

Cancel in the store you bought from. A subscription bought on an iPhone can only be canceled in the App Store, even if you now use Android, and the other way round.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Train and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap Delete Account, type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away, with no waiting period.

Delete on this page

Use this if you no longer have the app. We email you a one-time code to prove the account is yours.

If you signed in with Apple and chose “Hide My Email”, enter the @privaterelay.appleid.com address. Apple forwards the code to your inbox, and it may arrive in your junk folder.

Ask us by email

Email support@trainstrengthapp.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete My Account”. We confirm the deletion within 30 days.

What we delete, and what we keep

Deleted
  • Your account and sign-in details: email address, name, and your linked Apple or Google sign-in
  • Your profile and questionnaire answers: age, gender, height, weight, goals, injuries, equipment
  • Your programs, workouts, sets, personal bests and milestones
  • Your record with our subscription provider, RevenueCat
Kept, and for how long
  • Subscription and billing records: 7 years after your last transaction, because UK tax law requires it. They hold an account identifier, what you paid and when. They never hold your name, email, health or workout data.
  • Crash and diagnostic reports: these hold no name or email. They are deleted on our crash-reporting provider’s retention schedule.
  • Backups: deleted data can remain in encrypted backups until our hosting provider’s normal backup cycle overwrites them.
Apple and Google sign-in

Deleting your Train account does not remove Train from your Apple ID or Google Account’s list of connected apps. That is optional. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Train → Stop Using Apple ID. On Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps → Train → Remove access.
